Olive Design was established by Mary Van Vliet in 1995 with the objective of making the homes of real people more comfortable, livable and beautiful.  Always mindful of the needs of her client, her careful choices reflect the same emphasis on form as function.

Her earlier careers as a fabric designer and decorative painter honed her sense of color, her knowledge of fabric textures and drape, and her intuitive ability to find the perfect finishing touch. Mary's interiors possess a signature look and feel best described as easy elegance.
